Dubliners Given Giant Beat Machine to Play
Posted at 12:50 Tue 1st May 2012 IST
An outdoor “Beat Wall” on a Dublin street that allows passerbys to create their own “beats” using a large replica of a beat-making machine has been unveiled outside a city pub.
The Bernard Shaw created the interactive wall as part of its BeatYard festival, taking place later this week.

The wall was designed to look, and function, like a giant MPC (pictured below). MPCs are used to store sound samples and create beats.
