Ever wanted to own an island? The recession has opened up an opportunity in County Fermanagh. Inisliroo, a tiny island on Lough Erne, has been put up for sale for an initial asking price of £600,000.

The current owners have owned it for five years and in that time have learned about the island’s history.
The Island had to fully provide for the Maguire family and as such every piece of it was utilised. After the Second World War the Island was famous for its fruit production. The orchard provided much needed revenue and today it is still very much in tact.
