Young People Urged To Speak Up About Mental Health

After the death of two of his friends to suicide, Eoin Corbett wanted to do something to encourage young people to talk about mental health issues. The video above is the result. Sixteen year old Eoin is concerned that young people, particularly young men, wear masks to hide their real thoughts and emotions. He wants to remove the stigma attached to mental health issues, so that his own friends would feel comfortable talking to him.

People shared the video with their Facebook friends and Twitter followers to spread awareness of what Eoin was doing:
