Leinster Rugby Players Pay Special Visit to Children's Hospital

The Leinster squad paid a special visit to the patients and families of Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin on Thursday morning. Brian O’Driscoll, Devin Toner, Fionn Carr, John Cooney and Rob Kearney were among the players who arrived with the Heineken Cup in tow. The gang distributed gifts to the Day Care unit, St. Gabriel’s Ward and St. Michael’s Wards B and C.

Pictured above is Michaela Morley, from Co. Mayo soaking up the sun outside the hospital on Thursday. Michaela has been on Haemodialysis at Temple Street Hospital since she was born but at the end of last year received a kidney transplant.

The image below was captured during a visit to the hospital in May 2011. One year on the hospital says Michaela is doing much better.
