Image of the Day: Global GAA

The GAA added this image to its Facebook page the other day, and we thought it quite fascinating.
They think this is the highest GAA-related photo to ever have been taken: it was recorded at 5,416 metres on the highest point of the famous Annapurna Circuit.
It shows Kumar and Chattra wearing Cork and Kilkenny jerseys. The pair regularly guide people around the Himalayas Mountains.
They’re clearly avid GAA fans, showing just how global our local game has become.
