The National Library of Ireland is now on YouTube
The National Library of Ireland have taken to YouTube, with a bunch of helpful 'how to' videos on their channel.
NLI already have a huge online presence on social media platforms such as Twitter and Flickr, but their new step-by-step videos are a great help when searching their site for items like books and photographs.
The five videos detail how to locate any of the 487,683 searchable items, order material online, and register a user's ticket.
When speaking to the Digital Times, Caroline Montgomery, who produced the videos, said that 'we hope [the videos] will make it easier for online visitors to navigate their way through the NLI's collections and quickly find what they need.'
Take a look at a couple of them below.
