An Aerial View of the West Coast of Ireland

Take a look at this group of images taken by the Irish Defence Forces over the weekend from its maritime patrol aircraft, the CASA CN 235.

“The aircraft is crewed by two pilots, two radar operators, a signaler and a photographer,” the Defence Forces said about the missions that last six hours.

The photos, taken by Cpl Karl Cosgrave, feature aerial views of the Cliffs of Moher, Slyne Head, Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay.
