Loretta Murphy

Singer, songwriter, author, poet, actress, nurse; member of The Troubles, an Irish American band playing original, contemporary, and traditional Irish tunes; wrote 2 books, a novel "The Pipes Are Calling", and a volume of poetry, "Irish Roads". Visited Ireland 4 times, including work as a peace volunteer in Northern Ireland in 2011. Reside in the coal regions of Pennsylvania, where a large number of Irish immigrants settled during the Famine years.
