A cross disciplinary collaboration with the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork in conjunction with the launch of their book ‘Weight Loss, a comprehensive guide to weight loss surgery' ,edited by Gillian Moore Groarke and Colm O’Boyle.

The Bon Secours Bariatric Surgery Team and Sheelah Moloney, Director, 2020 Art Gallery have devised and curated an exhibition of artworks that address the complex and fascinating subject of body image.

The exhibition, ‘Mirror, Mirror – Beauty & Perception’ looks at what constitutes beauty, who or what dictates the definition of beauty and the disparity between how we perceive beauty on ourselves and others.

Artists from around the country were invited to participate and we have chosen the best of national talent to showcase. Fourteen artists will be featured, they are; Marie Connole, Ann Duggan, Cliona Fox, Eileen Healy, Anna Hearne, Jack Hickey, Anne Lowen, Lorraine Masters, Jenny Monks, Mateusz Nowakowski, Katie O’Donoghue, Maria O’Donovan, Lana Shuks, Sabine Weisbach .
