Video: 48 GAA teams descend on Kerry for the Páidi Ó Sé Football Festival

The GAA has been great at building communities in Ireland since it's foundation really but what it's been particularly good at in recent years is providing a postbox home or a welcome point for young Irish people who've gone abroad.
Irish Minister for Sport Leo Varadkar speaking at this year's Páidi Ó Sé Football Festival about the importance of the GAA for Irish people abroad.
The Gathering have recently uploaded a video where they chat to some of the players who made their way to Kerry during February past for this year's festival. The football tournament was the brainchild of Kerry football legend Páidi Ó Sé, who sadly passed away in December last year.
48 GAA teams – including 16 teams from overseas – came to Kerry this year to not only celebrate Gaelic football but also to remember Páidi's life and contribution to the sport.
Martin O'Neill, captain of Cardiff club St Colmcille's said 'Páidi came over and invited us to the event, and as a GAA legend I think it'd be a great year to come and honour his memory to play in this tournament.'
This year was the tournament's biggest ever and not doubt it will continue to grow in years to come, and will perhaps be the lasting legacy of the great Kerryman.
