Founded at the tail-end of 2012, the Manhattan Gaels GAA Club will compete in their first competitive game in the Junior Gaelic Football Championship this weekend – the first time a Manhattan-based team has competed in the competition in more than 25 years.

And what better way to mark the occasion by putting your name in lights? How about some of the most famous and viewed lights in the world? That's exactly what happened this evening when the club managed to secure a spot on one of the big screens in Times Square. Looks pretty good up there, doesn't it?

The team will take on Rockland at Gaelic Park this Sunday. We wish them the best of luck in their debut.
