Always read the label. (Starts in the High St)
That’s ingenious — the tour with the goody bag of Irish inventions! Did you know . . . the ‘ingenious Irish’ invented the modern stethoscope, milk chocolate, whiskey and Sudocrem?! We even changed the world: helping to land a man on the Moon (thanks to Irish algebra), and generating copious electricity, thanks to the steam turbine. For ages 10+ (Starts in TCD)
Earthquakes & Elephants — the geek’s guide to Dublin! Hear the fascinating stories of Dublin elephants and earthquakes, and meet some of the great Irish scientists who helped to shape the world, including Robert Boyle, of Boyle‘s Law, and Ernest Walton, the man who split the atom. (Starts in TCD)

Discover how Dublin developed and grew, and even what it’s made of, in an entertaining, and informative tour that mixes architecture, history and geology. A highlight is visiting a little-known marble hall on St Stephen‘s Green, a hidden treasure most Dubliners have never seen. Suitable for ages 1o+ (Starts at Christchurch Cathedral).
