The PhotoIreland Festival 2012 is launching in Dublin tonight and we are proud to be working together with them to gather photos from the WorldIrish community!
Celebrating its third year, the festival explores the theme of ‘Migrations: Diaspora & Cultural Identity’ showcasing some of the finest national and international contemporary photography in and around Dublin city until 31 July.
We would like to add your images to the PhotoIreland Festival. Check out our story about the festival here .
Through your photographs we would love to give people a window into life as someone who feels “WorldIrish”, whether you’re Irish born, of Irish heritage or just love Ireland.
Share your interpretations, insights, observations or moments with the PhotoIreland and WorldIrish communities. We’ll set a new theme each week between now and 31 July. This week’s theme is: “Something in your home that’s Irish”
Whether you snap photos on your phone from time-to-time or never leave the house without your SLR we’d like you to share your photos.
Your photo will be added to the WorldIrish and PhotoIreland Facebook albums and the best photograph (chosen on 1 August), as chosen by ourselves, will win €250.
Email your photo to [email protected] with a short description of why you’ve chosen it.
Your photo will be uploaded to a Facebook album and shared with our online community via our website.
