[UPDATE: The video appears to have been made private]

Original story: The graffiti sprayed on the Cliffs of Moher, which made national news and dubbed 'vandalism' by the cleanup team, was painted by a pair of hitchhiking graffiti artists from France - who have just uploaded a video of the process to video-sharing site Vimeo.

The pair, who refer to themselves as 'Mama' and 'Dirty Edoir' are part of a group called Dirty EST, an arts collective based in Paris who focus on graffiti, painting, urban photography, sculpture and short film.

The graffiti was sprayed on Hag's Head area at the cliffs during the pair's road trip throughout Ireland, which they crossed using hitchhiking as a method of travel.

When the graffiti was first discovered a week ago, RTÉ News carried the story on national television. A local geologist said the rocks had 'their own natural beauty' and 'that's what people come to see.'

The video recording also shows the same artists spraying urban areas in Dublin and Galway.

You can watch the video below, with the segment on creating the Cliffs of Moher graffiti beginning at the two minute mark.
