It's hard for me when women take what feminism has given them with one hand & smack it down with the other.

Without feminism they wouldn't have the options for a career or to earn their own money or live the life of their choosing.

It's a choice feminism has given them. But I would respectfully ask them to look at what feminism has given them & think again.

So when celebrities like Katy Perry & Taylor Swift say they don't consider themselves feminists, altho it makes me sad that's their choice

You exercise to look & feel good after not during. Try not to let it bother you or be an excuse not to exercise

I think we also tend to get more conscious about how we look when we exercise. In the gym I'm a red-faced sweaty mess. Who cares?

Obviously obesity is a concern & weight loss is important. but guess what? you can be getting fitter & put on weight #muscle

By & large, the focus on the number on the scale is only part of the story. If you look & feel better stop worrying about what you weigh

This is all a round about way of saying I think women are sold a bill of goods when it comes to weight loss & fitness

I also love a swim once a week in the pool in my gym. Had my 1st 40 foot swim this weekend and it was BALTIC!

I don't track my calories anymore, did it for about 5 months last year & am in the gym instead of bootcamp. schedule doesn't allow for it :(

Started playing tag rugby in the summer too which is great fun even tho think I'm pretty awful!

The weight came off & I felt & looked better. I'd always been sporty enough & hadn't realised how much I'd missed the endorphins!

That was coupled with signing up with @SparkPeople where I was able to track my calories, & hit recommended carb, protein etc levels

So I signed up with @Fitsquad. They had a deal on & I'd always liked circuit training. I know, I'm odd.

Well, my clothes were feeling a bit uncomfortable tight. That coupled with being too lazy on the exercise front meant I had to make changes

Something I was going to talk about today was diets. I dieted for the 1st time last year. The better half is 6'2" so when I eat what he eats
