I went to Lisbon with my parents and had to miss the Young Designer Awards in Dublin where I could've interviewed some amazing people...

Cities are great too. I wrote some of my best posts in Lisbon. I actually have a story about Lisbon and an interview I had to do...

Inspiration for fashion can come from anything. I love people watching. I often sit in the park and just watch the world (and style) go by.

My blog is my voice. I like to keep it light and easy to read. It's the key to engaging with readers. And there's some humour there too!

I do get writer's block a lot. Its hard sometimes to write about things you love, I always worry I amn't getting my message across.

@sophieml1 Search Engine Optimisation. So basically how search engines like Google find your website. It's not easy to do I can tell ya!

@sophieml1 SEO is so hard to do and very expensive as well. I manage my site myself so developing SEO can be a challenge for me. :)

Nearly all Irish fashion bloggers can be found on bloglovin but it is open to all blogs from all areas. What are your views on pinterest?

Tools like bloglovin.com consolidate blogs you like to follow and so you can log into one place to read all posts in one go!

Breaking news in fashion is hard to do with the profusion of blogs and social media.The trick is to deliver it in your own style.

@iandevlin They can clutter yes, but tools like shareaholic and disqus make it cleaner. I use disqus and I really like it.

For fashion blogging images are hugely important. Sometimes moreso than the writing!

I moved to the world of journalism. It started with writing for the Advertiser and then early this year I was appointed...

2011 brought the break I was awaiting.Some opportunities to write in print and present online TV came knocking and I took the risk...

I spent 2010 redeveloping to get to its current format which was no easy feat.I still maintain and manage it myself.

By January 2010, it was getting up there in Google rankings and word was beggining to spread.People started coming to me...

Building it was the first task.Getting it out there was the next challenge.I contacted as any PR agencies as I could to tell them about it

I would come home from work and start work on the site, fine tuning it. Finally in October 2009, it was ready to go, updating it monthy.

I'd been modelling for years and the interest in fashion was always nagging me. I was working as an accountant but I was getting itchy feet

I built the first generation of styleisle in HTML, which was hard and took about a year. The content was not the problem...

I started styleisle.ie in 2009. I had not idea how to build a site, so I got one of those web building for dummies. I read it ALL....

So here goes the blogging story....
