Twitter is supposed to be a community and like any community we should be able to disagree without it being a fight.

Not sharing their taste in music or critiquing a musician they like and it really scares me to see the things that get said.

But everyone has been lovely and engaged in debate without letting it get nasty. Sometimes I see people on twitter threatening others over

On another topic, I want to thank everyone for being supportive this week. I was worried taking this account on I might be subject to abuse

The new unit in St.Vincent's is great but in order to keep life expectancy rising standards of care must continue to rise too.

That's amazing because it means people are living longer but it's also putting existing services under extra pressure.

There are approximately 1200 people in Ireland with Cystic Fibrosis, this year for the first time ever there are more adults than children

You can find out if you're a carrier by having a blood test, important especially if you plan on having kids someday.

Did you know 1 in 19 Irish people carry the Cystic Fibrosis gene? If two carriers have a child, there is a 25% chance the child will have CF

@orlatinsley Not really, in 2011 I had four courses of IVs but then in 2012 I only had one. I was in for IVs before Xmas - none since.

I feel every effort should be made to make it available to as many people as possible.

Hope for the future unlike anything I had before. It is expensive but you can't put a price on the hope it has given me and that's why...

The only time I have got very negative reactions to my cough was during the Sars/Bird Flu outbreaks, understandable due to public fear

I'm greatful for the free fees scheme though, not only has it given me the opportunity to go to college, I will graduate debt free...

The past four years have gone by so quickly, it's a bittersweet time.

In some ways I know I'm ready to move on but college is so safe, like a buffer to the real world, it's hard to let go.

As with most people with cystic fibrosis my body doesn't produce sufficient digestive enzymes so I have to take them artificially when I eat
